The Speakeasy, private dining room for 6 to 14 people in Paris 10th
A room apart, downstairs, a large table for 6 to 14, a menu built around you. The Speakeasy at HABILE. exists so that the meal can rise to the occasion.

Bringing up to fourteen people together around the same table without compromising on the quality of the food — that is exactly what HABILE.'s private dining room makes possible.
A room apart, designed for groups
In the basement of the restaurant, The Speakeasy seats 6 to 14 people around a large table. The space is separate from the main dining room: conversation can unfold freely, and so can the meal. A large screen is available for those who wish to follow a live event during dinner.
This basement is a continuation of what happens upstairs: a sober setting, uncluttered, where attention goes to the table and the people around it. Nothing is staged for the occasion — everything is simply there, available, equal to the moment.
The room is two minutes from Place de la République, at 16 rue de Lancry — easy to reach, central, without the noise of a large group venue.
A menu designed for the occasion
For private dining room meals, HABILE. offers a bespoke menu. Every detail is considered so that the moment lives up to what is being celebrated — whether it's a birthday, a family meal, a corporate dinner or a lunch among friends who don't see each other often enough.
The menu is built in advance, through an exchange with the team. This is not a reduced set menu served assembly-line style: it is a journey designed for the group, taking into account their preferences and the season. HABILE.'s cooking revolves around honest produce, renewed each month — a logic that applies equally to the private room and the ground-floor dining room.
The wines follow the same standard: 300 references, all natural or biodynamic, chosen one by one. A selection can be suggested to match the menu, or left in the hands of the guests according to their tastes.
What the space truly makes possible
A meal in the private room at HABILE. is, above all, about rediscovering what makes a meal memorable: time. Continuous service from 11am to 11pm — rare in Paris — means there is never any rush to leave the table. A lunch can last. A dinner can start late. The group sets the pace, not the other way around.
The address itself is part of the experience. Canal Saint-Martin, rue de Lancry, the 10th arrondissement: a neighbourhood Paris, alive, a reasonable distance from everywhere without being a mass-tourism destination. Groups looking for a genuine address — not a large anonymous room — will find something different here.
Capacity is deliberately kept to 14 people. This is not a constraint — it is a choice. Below that threshold, it is possible to maintain the level of attention the house sets itself for every cover.
