Habile is a French brand whose ambition is to lighten our wardrobes with durable clothing without sacrificing style. The cuts are timeless, the fabrics incredibly hardwearing and the style is unisex and urban. A look at these quality, on-trend pieces.
Two passionate clothing lovers founded this brand in 2018. Camille and Eric want Habile to shake things up while making timeless, quality garments. They even guarantee them for a minimum of one year. For them, every collection should be wearable for a long time. They turn their backs on today's fast fashion.

Habile: new collection
First, the iconic cotton twill jacket in new colourways. Then a brand-new T-shirt whose pocket is made from offcuts of the jacket's fabric. Pieces that adapt to every style, every outfit and every mood — garments you can wear hundreds of times without ever tiring of them or seeing their quality fade. For this reason, the Habile jacket is guaranteed for a minimum of 365 days of wear.

A triple standard
Habile is built on a triple standard. Garments must be comfortable, inventive and ethical all at once. Habile Habile essentials are unisex, comfortable, chic and practical. They are fully reversible or wearable in several different ways. You can change your look without expanding your wardrobe. Habile Habile also meet the ethical requirements of eco-responsible fashion. The HABILE essentials Habile are made in the finest factories in France and Portugal. All materials are 100% natural.

HABILE: timeless clothing
Two-in-one designs are the brand's speciality. The sweater is reversible, joining the family of pieces you never want to take off. Both sides have been carefully considered — inside and out. No print, but a two-tone rib on the right side and a plain finish once turned inside out. With its two colours, this sweater can be paired with an entire wardrobe.

Stitches — a grandmother's story!

Camille and Eric studied the knitwear of the past to identify techniques that guarantee both durability and comfort. They always combined different types of stitches. Their sweater is therefore knitted with various rib types, including a seed rib. It also features a moss stitch at the elbows for maximum durability. And reversible means perfect finishing! The linking is done by hand, stitch by stitch, for all the finishes on every sweater and every beanie. Hand-linking brings strength and longevity to the pieces — something a simple, unremarkable seam cannot offer. It makes both sweater and beanie fully reversible, with no wrong side. Finishes like these are not something you come across every day.

The sweater

Warm and protective at once, this sweater is premium quality thanks to its 100% virgin wool yarn. To find the best shape, Camille and Eric dug through archives and gathered historical images of old sailors' and workers' sweaters. Those shapes were both functional and "indestructible». They kept the principle. Guided by their commitment to designing truly long-lasting clothes, they modernised it by making it reversible. The result: a revisited classic with perfect finishing.100% virgin wool.
RRP: €235

Good to know:
Wool fibre can be considered almost as old as humanity itself. Its qualities are strength and elasticity. It provides warmth while remaining breathable. The 100% wool yarn selected comes from expert countries — Australia and Uruguay — where sheep are left free to graze. All of this ensures the finest wool for making the sweaters.

The beanie

This functional style suits all head shapes. It is knitted in jersey stitch and 1×1 rib. The knit pattern is unique. 100% virgin wool
RRP: €45
The Socks

To dress you from head to toe, Camille and Eric couldn't resist putting their monogram on socks. Knitted in jacquard stitch in organic cotton, they match all their jacket colours. They are made in one of the finest French workshops. Neither too high nor too low, these organic cotton socks are designed to suit everyone, knitted in jacquard with their monogram.
RRP: €15

The brand's founders
Camille and Eric are in love with the perfect gesture and worthy causes. They believe in the future of well-made pieces and in the need to give themselves the means to create them. They want timeless cuts, a fair price and details that make the difference.

Camille, the gifted hand behind the designs
After 5 years at Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Chloé, she has created best-sellers for several Parisian brands including Maison Standard, Iro and Balibaris. By creating Habile, she designs pieces that refuse compromise — stylish, perfectly comfortable, and built to last.
Eric, the craftsman with a love of nature
This chef trained under the greats: Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy. He has always had a taste for doing things differently. He dreamed of a wardrobe that was authentic and made with respect for the environment. Now, he creates the clothes he always dreamed of wearing — in the kitchen and in life.
