Is it a grocery store? A wine shop? A clothing store? A restaurant? All of these things at the same time! The place blends the talents of its two designers, the stylist Camille Andrieux, who promotes fashion "made to last", and the chef Éric Fontanini, formerly of Savoy and Ducasse. On the white walls, the colorful fleece banquettes and sweatshirts stand out among the shelves full of gourmet treasures (spices, dried herbs...). The plates play with seasonal products: beets with fermented raspberries and quince vinegar, puntarelle with garlic. It is fresh and full of energy. The dishes are classic and autumnally comforting, between sausage-purée - oh, the lovely meat juice! - and trout from the Basque country on a bed of polenta swimming in a sorrel cream that makes you want to jump. At snack time, hot cookies are taken out of the oven by the young Constantin Piard (a talent to be followed), and in the evening, good cocktails incite to settle down at the bar covered with water green zelliges: a multifaceted place where it is good to sit down in all simplicity.
Many thanks to Estérelle Payany and Alice Beuvelet.
