A COMPETITION LIKE NO OTHER.
A few months ago, Eric was contacted to participate in the CAP’HANDICOOK competition, to accompany a team of students with disabilities. Our chef immediately volunteered. After winning the best dish award, they made it to the finals, which took place on January 27th at Rungis and then at the Ministry of Health in Paris. « For 2.5 hours, the candidate teams, paired with a Master Restaurateur, had to prepare a menu using a mystery buffet in the kitchens of the Rungis Academy. They also showcased their talents in plating and service, based on the theme 'celebration meal'. A new 'cocktail' challenge also highlighted their skills during the grand finale. » Eight prizes were awarded that evening. Eric and his team won the 'Best Cocktail' and 'Best Starter' awards. Days like these prove that anything is possible!
