A multifaceted place where it is good to sit down in complete simplicity
Is it a grocery store? A wine shop? A clothing store? A restaurant? All of these at once! The place combines the talents of its two creators, stylist Camille Andrieux, who promotes fashion made to last a long time, and chef Éric Fontanini, formerly of Savoy and Ducasse. Against the white walls, the colorful padded benches and colorful sweatshirts stand out amidst shelves overflowing with gourmet treasures (spices, dried herbs, etc.). The plates play on seasonal products: beets with fermented raspberries and quince vinegar, puntarelle with a hint of garlic. It's fresh and full of energy. The dishes are classic and autumnally comforting, between sausage and mash—oh, the lovely meat juices!—and Basque Country trout placed on a bed of polenta swimming in a sorrel cream that makes you want to dip in the sauce. At snack time, the hot cookies are taken out of the oven by the young Constantin Piard (a talent to follow), and in the evening, good cocktails encourage you to sit down at the bar covered in sea green zelliges: a multifaceted place where it is good to sit down in all simplicity.
