The Hand Tours with Apprentis d'Auteuil Edition #1
A few months ago, we decided to create a brand-new project: to share our hand tours. With the help of an exceptional chef, a handful of apprentices will have the chance to share a unique gastronomic moment.
Every month, HABILE will proudly invite a big name in the culinary world to share their experience, tips, and hand tours with the young trainees. A unique menu will be created for this occasion. Only 20 covers will have the chance to experience this exceptional evening.
To kick things off, we had the privilege of welcoming Monsieur Jacques Génin. A great pastry chef and, in our eyes, the best chocolatier in Paris. This remarkable man shared his hand tours with two lucky young apprentices from Apprentis d'Auteuil during the first edition, on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Eric followed a classical training in hospitality and catering. This career choice surprised everyone. A well-defined path toward a scientific education was planned for young Fontanini. A summer job under the Sardinian sun won over our determined future chef. It was in the kitchens of Guy Savoy and Alain Ducasse that Eric honed his skills. His experiences abroad, between San Francisco, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and Uruguay, shaped who he is today.
Camille has always been drawn to the world of fashion. Despite numerous attempts to discourage her, she joined a fashion school in Paris. It was at Marc Jacobs' Haute Couture studios in New York and Alexander McQueen's in London that her determination was forged. Her years in the ready-to-wear sector completed her journey as a versatile designer.

When we created this project, the concept of sharing was essential to our balance. We wanted to grow with an association by our side. And we chose Apprentis d'Auteuil. They support over 36,000 young people and vulnerable families each year. Through their programs in welcoming, education, training, and integration in France and internationally, the foundation helps them grow into strong men and women. This support is provided through hands-on training. And we know hands-on work well!
Our first event in collaboration dates back to January 17, 2019. In the heart of Fashion Week, we took on the challenge of blending fashion, artistic performance, and a good cause. During a special charity evening, illustrator Camille de Cussac performed live in the Marais. The talented artist unleashed her inspiration by drawing on bandanas live and in a very limited series. These bandanas were even more special as they were produced by the apprentice seamstresses from Clamart under the supervision of Camille Andrieux, co-founder of HABILE.

SKOLA was our second collaboration with Apprentis d'Auteuil. This program is the 'final mile before employment'. During several editions, we entrusted our clothing collection to the young trainees so they could immerse themselves in real-world sales conditions. What a pride for them to be involved as salespeople for our brand. These editions have always been successful as many young people graduated.
